Inspiration in his work “Untitled 1981”
For Jean-Michel Basquiat everything around him was susceptible to become part of his paintings. He used the signs and drawings he found around the city, cut them up and rearranged them to transform them into something new in his paintings. Sometimes he also drew images he found in anatomy or prehistoric art books.
Pieces modeled on the potter’s wheel.
Each piece is unique and different respecting the same design and color palette.
