Hello!
I’m Paula Tapia.

I come from a family of artisans and since I was a child I was passionate about art, natural materials and being able to create something with my own hands.
Little by little I was approaching the world of ceramics, starting in the Bachelor of design and art, then as a hobby and now as a profession.

I studied Geological Sciences, and despite not finishing my degree, minerals and geological formations are my greatest source of creative inspiration.

Life has taken me to different parts of the world, Argentina, England, Spain and Denmark, where I was able to meet and learn from local potters and ceramists, sharing the warmth of the kiln.

These dynamic experiences have forged my own style and identity as an artist.

Today, in my workshop Tierra Cerámicas located in Barcelona, I design and produce unique pieces, decorative and functional objects.

Our workshop is a space where tradition meets innovation, and where each artist brings their unique vision to the creative process.
We are proud to offer workshops and classes for those who wish to explore their own creativity in the world of ceramics.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced ceramicist, you will find a welcoming and nurturing environment here.
In addition, we collaborate with local artists to create exhibitions that celebrate the diversity and richness of contemporary ceramics.

Coworking for ceramists - El Galpón & Jardín de Tierra

El Galpón & Jardín de Tierra are our coworking and Open Access spaces located in Riera de Sant Miquel 63 (Barcelona).

We have 9 individual work places and a common area.
Each member will have free access with keys and will have their own table, chair, 5 shelves and a wide variety of enamels included in the rental.

They are equipped with 3 ovens of 60lts, 80tls and 130lts dedicated to the members, a laminator, 9 lathes, Wi-Fi, hot water, security cameras, a refrigerator and coffee maker.

You can bring your glazes and other raw material alternatives to experiment on your own projects as long as they are suitable for HIGH TEMPERATURE 1230 GR baking.

For coworking members, the clay and tools they need will be at cost.
The first week of each month we will make the order to come with the order of Tierra Cerámicas.

For those who prefer the monthly Free Access with Pack of hours; the clay, glazes, engobes, firings, etc, will be included.
