Moeki is a weaver and Paula is a ceramist. A friend of mine thought of the connection of our work…. The idea was to create a set that would evoke the warmth of home and from that premise we got down to work. Moeki: “For my part, to design the tablecloths, I wanted to do something different and add a touch of “Tierra Cer?micas”, something playful and carefree. So, for this project I decided to weave, letting my intuition guide me”. Paula: “I like to work with black clay, it is chemically complex and its cooling curve after the kiln can be unruly if it has glaze. It is difficult to wear, but its tones for a winter table are just right.” The Artisan Set includes 2 placemats, 2 bowls and 2 glasses.
